The Service
We provide a free online tool that converts images to text using OCR technology. The service is provided "as is" – we try to keep it working well, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free results every single time.
Usage limits: There's no hard limit on daily conversions, but we monitor for abuse. If you're hammering our servers with thousands of requests per minute, we may temporarily restrict access. The tool works best for normal, reasonable use.
What You Can Upload
You may upload:
- Images (JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, etc.)
- PDF files (single page works best)
- Other image formats we support
Maximum file size is displayed on the upload page.
What You Cannot Do
Don't use this service to:
- Process illegal content or materials you don't have rights to
- Attempt to overwhelm or crash our servers
- Use automated bots or scrapers without permission
- Resell or redistribute our service
- Remove watermarks or alter output from other services
Your Content
You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any content you upload. If you convert a photo or document, make sure you're allowed to do so. We're just a tool – what you do with it is your responsibility.
Accuracy of Results
Our OCR technology is good, but it's not perfect. Text extraction accuracy depends on image quality, font clarity, language, and other factors. Results may occasionally contain errors or miss characters. Don't rely on this service for mission-critical applications where 100% accuracy is required.
Service Availability
We aim for 99% uptime, but servers need maintenance and unexpected issues happen. We'll try to announce downtime in advance when possible. We don't offer refunds or compensation for downtime since the service is free.
